Re: Build 2520 - various improvements

Great work Mike!!! Thanks for your continued hard work, i certainly appreciated it!!! I really like the work on the Hot Key section. This directly related to another feed i had about being able to print out the hot keys to file. Funny enough i actually spend a few hours writing up my own modified sp...

Re: Export Hotkeys Mapping to File

Aha!!
Found the Help.pdf file in the contents of NC.

This is what i wanted. I can manually amend my unique ones set.

So no need to worry on this one then :P

Export Hotkeys Mapping to File [CLOSED]

Hi Mike Is there a way i can export my current Hotkeys mapping to a file (possibly CSV) ? Would it be possible to add this......not urgent, so when you feel you have time. If not possible, thats ok too. (Even instructions on how to get this in the raw app files would be ok for me) I just thought it ...

Re: If copy is taking place, creating folders get queued

Operation pools are tied to windows, not to panels. I.e. there can be, say, 5 panels inside a window(considering tabs too), and any operation started within these panels will be placed in a single operation pool of the window where panels belong. Speaking of special treatment - why queuing should b...

Re: If copy is taking place, creating folders get queued

You can just use another window to do it. Operations queues work on a window level, not on an app level. Hi Mike So i understand...... are you saying i should move to the opposite panel and then continue my operations for that side ? or open up a new instance of NC altogether to continue my operati...

Re: Cut and Paste within same panel

Thank you both for the response.

This makes perfect sense when you put it like that.
Im still sort of new to Mac and still very used to this concept of cut and paste from Microsoft.

But copy and move will achieve the same result for me.
Thanks for this guys!!

Re: Large move operation freezes at end

Hi Mike Sorry for delay in response, i was on holiday for a week. I think it might not have frozen but rather i was trying to force quit NC while it was still busy. I think the issue here is that NC does not popup the checksum failure messages when they occur. I had no visual indication that anythin...

Large move operation freezes at end [FIXED]

I have had the same thing happen twice in a row now. When i select a large amount of data and move it (F6) it has frozen at the end. Ive had to eject my hdd and force quick NC. Trying to close NC normally will bring up the colorful beachball icon and just sit there until i force quite NC. Is there s...

If copy is taking place, creating folders get queued [CLOSED]

Hi Mike I just noticed that when i copied a large amount of data, and wanted to continue with my activities like creating a new folder on the drive that operation got queued which then effectively makes me have to wait (15mins) for the entire queue to finish before i can continue to do file operatio...
