Re: Save tabs on exit. Restore on start

achekulaev,
Absolutely agree that windows information like positions and open tabs with locations must be stored and loaded upon start.

Re: Save some space by moving info around. Get rid of 1 toolbar

The problem is that window width can be very small, like in this image:
Maybe it's easier to just turn that volume info off and use CMD+L to show available space when need?

Re: Cmd-+ should use current file extension

Pressing Cmd-+ to quickly select files by mask should auto-substitute mask with extension from file under cursor. E.g. on the screenshot below I have "Monosnap 2015-07-16.jpg" as file under cursor so pressing Cmd-+ should auto-propose to select all JPG files (just like I did manually on screenshot)...

Re: Directory history dropdown

This sounds interesting. However, there're already three different suggestions for that path line: - make it editable, like in windows explorer. (I think this is redundant, since we already have Go To Folder sheet by cmd+shift+g, with autocomplete and other fancy stuff) - show a list of upper-level ...

Re: File Find dialog - enhancements

achekulaev, Access keys are bound to Ctrl modifier, since it happens to be problematic to use same modifiers as for Menu items (seems to be a Cocoa-specific behaviour). There're: - ^M for Mask - ^T for Containing Text - ^S - for Size I will eventually bring the similar scheme to other dialog sheet s...

Re: build 1176 - overlapped terminal draft, evolution

Mike, just gave it a quick spin and it's shaping up very nicely! I've ran into one weird bug: I've been playing with running commands in the terminal, hiding and showing panes a few times, running shell commands, alt+ctrl+enter once or twice and then... I held delete key for too long... It took me ...

Re: Command line

Guys, I think I've found a way to bring some compromise between usability level of a textbox-command line and a "true" shell integration.
So currently Files does "pasting" focused item name and can execute entered commands with Enter hit in panels too.
Although, no regular letters routing for now.

Re: build 1165 - overlapped terminal draft

Guys, thanks for responses and please take a look at last build 1176. achekulaev, Terminal cursor is changing it's state in last preview I've just uploaded. System's mouse cursor is my headache - yep, sometimes system doesn't change it... will try to investigate it somehow. don, I personally have no...

build 1176 - overlapped terminal draft, evolution

Hi everybody! I've done some interesting stuff with terminal integration: http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.0.8(1176).zip Files now tries to guess what is entered within Bash shell. Based on this information, next steps can be made: - when you hitting Enter with something entered i...

Re: build 1165 - overlapped terminal draft

Nice feature, it would be great if the command lines of the terminal start upside down , and then scroll up, as the other terminals normally do. and that white separator line looks redundant. Hi, azadkuh, Separator line is just a debug stuff, don't pay attention to it. ( it shows a border between "...
