Re: Background color for selected items

I mean, how to tell if some item is focused but not selected - only by a text color, right? Right. I'm using this in FAR, btw. far1.png Here, "lpeg.dll" is focused and selected, text color is yellow. If it only focused and not selected, text color would be blue (1). It has really simple color setti...

Drag and drop in 1.2.2 [DONE]

Here are some drag and drop issues that still exist in version 1.2.2: Creating links within NC: - select multiple items - drag to other panel with Ctrl pressed - "link arrow" is displayed at cursor - nothing happens, no links created (btw, this works nicely with one item) Moving to Finder: - select ...

...here's an example for the issue with the Dock icon progress bar. Who can tell how far the process is? :)

Re: Background color for selected items

Ok, but how to combine a selection background with a cursor background - introduce some 3rd color? Drawing a selection background only on some portion of an area might hit presentation performance. If there was an option for "selected, unfocused background", the user could just chose a color. I wou...

Toolbar in 1.2.2

I like the new Toolbar in 1.2.2, but I think there's room for optimization. To me, the Toolbar's main task is to display information on long-lasting file operations. This works nicely with one operation, like copying one item. Issue 1: When you select multiple items and then copy them, the Toolbar c...

Re: Background color for selected items

The semantics behind NC's selection are completely clear, Mike. Keeping the selection after moving the cursor is exactly how it should be, this is nicely implemented in NC. IMHO, it would be still nice to be able to change the background of focused items while keeping the current selection behaviour...

Background color for selected items [DONE]

When selecting multiple items in brief/list view, I'd like the items to change background, exactly like in Finder. select_multiple_items.png Currently, in NC's Settings -> Themes -> Files panel -> General, one can specify the foreground text color for selected items, unfocused and focused. That's go...

Re: Change keyboard shortcut "Show Hidden Files"

Short clarification: of course one can just change the shortcut in NC's settings. My idea was changing the default shortcut to Finder's default.

Change keyboard shortcut "Show Hidden Files" [DONE]

In Finder (macOS Sierra), the keyboard shortcut for "Show hidden files" is Cmd+Shift+(dot). It's not well-documented, but I'm using it a lot. In NC, the shortcut is Cmd+Shift+i. For the sake of continuity, I would appreciate if NC would use Finder's shortcuts whenever it's possible. This shortcut wo...

Re: Dark themed preview

I had a look for some and found a syntax highlighter which did indeed work in NC as well, so it seems you're right. Only found one with light colors, but a more in-depth search might solve that problem. I'm using qlcolorcode ( https://code.google.com/archive/p/qlcolorcode/ ). The configuration is d...
