Re: Admin mode is not working/buggy
JayB, I've just checked deleting of items owned by root via Admin Mode, and it works. (haven't tested removing of system components though, can't see a point of doing it) NC tells me that it can't delete the .service bundle, because the folder isn't empty, which is weird Well.. This might happen if ...

Re: build 1970 - new UI, part IV
Not able to start it - crashed the first time and then - nothing. Also crashed for me. Works fine after deleting "~/Library/Application Support/Nimble Commander". Oh flip.. it appears I've forgotten about a slight change in themes naming (i.e "modern" -> "Modern" etc) and that previously selected v...

build 1970 - new UI, part IV
Hi, folks! Yet another preview build of v1.2.0: http://magnumbytes.com/downloads/previews/nimble-commander-1.2.0(1974).zip (UPDATE: it's a fixed build, shouldn't crash anymore) Updates: Icon size setting, finally. There are three variants: disabled, 1x (16px) and 2x (32px). Also, thumbnails generati...

Re: Embedded shell : cursor movement/history
Hi don, - Arrows - to be able to move back and forth How would NC distinguish between arrow strokes for file panels and for command line? - <Modifier> + Left/Right Arrows - to be able to jump to the beginning and end of the typed line - <Modifier> + Up/Down Arrows - to be able to scroll through the ...

Re: Navigation in QuickLists
On arrow keys handling: well... in fact there's not much I can do here, except of rewriting these lists with some custom UI instead of using system menus. Mac's menu system is very rigid and provides only few options after menu was shown. Speaking of typing to select - what I can do is adding a text...

Re: System-wide hotkey to focus NC
I like this idea. However, I don't think it'll be wise to put this functionality inside NC itself, since MAS-versions of NC cannot intercept keystrokes (Hello, Apple's sandbox ideology!), thus this feature will be crippled by design. Said that, I can write a tiny separate app, that will do just that...

Re: Classic Mode
I'd like to test SF Mono first Since this question might arise after uploading the next preview build (with customization UI), I'll post a note on this font ahead: "SF Mono" is not a system font. You cannot select SF Mono outside of Terminal, Console and Xcode because it is not installed to the sys...

Re: build 1946 - new UI, part III
Crash report suggests that somehow theme definition file is missing, looks like not all files were copied from app's bundle.

I'm actually not inventing the wheel here, this scheme mimics Finder's behavior, they've done a good job in this aspect.
