Re: El Capitan: often crashes when trying to see file

Yeah, I was going to write about this too. I've noticed that crashes on El Capitan in the same place, after opening the viewer several times. Glad to hear you're already on this.

Search count bug [FIXED]

Quick bug report: * cmd+f then search on the directory with many files, some JPGs, some camera raws (this is probably important) * leave the "containing text" filled, but stop the search while it's going * remove the "containing text" and search again, notice the wrong counter * search again, notice...

Re: Cursor positioning after deleting files [FIXED]

Oh, sure thing, bugs are unavoidable. It's only a matter of making sure you do your best to filter out as much of them as possible. Experience and coding discipline take care of the biggest issues, automated tests help with smaller mistakes and regressions so I'm super happy to know that you're thin...

Re: Cursor positioning after deleting files

Hmm... I'd say "next" in that context would mean the next in the list, visually. I've just tried this new build and it seems much better now, thanks! But I'd have to play with this a little longer to know for sure. BTW, knowing "how the sausage is made" I'm usually wary of using these preview builds...

Re: build 1199 - navigation quick lists

Also having two terminals (one under panels and main one) is so great. I can launch process in one and do something in another meanwhile. I'm not so sure about this. This could get quite confusing. Two terminals that look similar, but launch with slightly different shortcuts and function somewhat d...

Cursor positioning after deleting files [FIXED]

Something was bugging me for a while and just today I've tracked down the problem. See this screenshot (oops.. the board won't allow anything bigger than 200k? had to recompress): cursor1.jpg I've selected files to delete, moved the cursor within the red range. Now, after deleting, since the file po...

Oh, yes! Now I can drag in and out from both Cyberduck and Transmit. Good job, Mike! :)

Re: Can't drag from/to Cyberduck

Hmh... I've downloaded it, but I'm getting a weird error: "“Files.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." Can you repro this on your side?

Re: Can't drag from/to Cyberduck

Hmh... I've tried two more FTP clients. Transmit by Panic and Yummy FTP. It looks like Files can't accept files being dragged from any of these. I don't know much about drag and drop on OS X, but this seems weird that all these programs would have problems. Also, I've noticed that dragging works, bu...

Re: build 1199 - navigation quick lists

I've just tried and it seems to work well. However, I don't see myself using this. Accessing favorites F1/F2 is perfectly enough for me. As for going up/down the path home and root shortcuts you've added do a great job and it's faster to just use them and arrow keys than to process the content of th...
