quick links [CLOSED]

Post by d0ublezer0 » Tue Jun 28, 2016 8:10 pm

Hi!
I just bought NC.
First, thanks for the awesome file manager. Forklift still have to work hard to be the same as NC..
The question:
Total Commander has a FTP connection manager. In NC I did not find it.
Successful and not successful connection attempts remain in the list of connections and I do not know how to change them. How to remove, how to rename?

PS A question can be only in English? I prefer Russian :)

Hi d0ublezer0 and welcome of the forum!

First of all - thanks for your support.

Yep, NC is currently lacking of some "connection manager".
Instead, to edit or remove your existing networks connections, your can simply use Go->Connect To... menu with keyboard modifiers:
- to edit an existing connection - hold Shift;
- to remove an existing connection - hold Alt (Option).

This forum is in English, so others can benefit from an open conversations.
Of course you can email me in Russian at support (at) magnumbytes.com, if you wish to.

With regards,
Mike.

Excellent!
How can I add a specific folder to the quick list?

Currently you have to use Finder to do that, a list of folders in quick list is actually a Finder Favorites on the left side of it's window.
