Remapping individual selection hotkey? [DONE]

Post by Rafa » Sat Sep 24, 2016 6:08 pm

Hi there,

Coming from Total Commander I am used to select Individual files/directories just hitting the space bar, muscle memory.

I'm trying to remap the space bar key to this action, but cannot seem to find it in the hotkey list. However, the help doc shows that the hotkey is set to Insert (fn+↩). Additionally, the behaviour is select item and move the cursor down, and this feels a bit awkward as I expect it to select and stay where it is.

I've taken a look at the hotkeys overrides file (~/Library/Application\ Support/Nimble\ Commander/Config/HotkeysOverrides.plist) but no clue on how to manually set this hotkey or if it is even possible.

Any thoughts on this?
Thanks

Hi Rafa and welcome to the forum!

Well, there was no just "invert current item selection" before.
Thanks for grabbing my attention to that, I've already implemented this hotkey support:

And also fixed two related bugs

These changes will be available in next preview build in a few days.

That was supersonic Mike! Many many thanks.

A small detail, but yet could have been a deal-breaker for me.

Thanks again,
Rafa
