Way to mount network drives? [DONE]

Post by JayB » Mon Jan 09, 2017 9:25 pm

When I mount network drives in Finder, they show up in NC under Volumes. But when they're unmounted, there is no way to enable/mount them from within NC. Is there a workaround? Or (sans Finder) do users need a script to mount them for them to be available in NC?

EDIT: it works with external scripts using mount_smbfs and umount; Finder keeps quiet, and the volumes show up in NC.

Currently there're two ways:
- use Finder;
- call External Tools to mount/unmount them (with shell scripts or directly with parameters line).
I want to add some facility to manipulate system mount points in the future, but these are only wishes at the moment.
