Error overwriting an application bundle [FIXED]

Post by sasha » Thu Oct 19, 2017 1:16 pm

When I try to copy an application bundle (.app) to /Applications over an existing earlier version, here's what happens:

- "File already exists" dialog appears
- Click on "Overwrite"
- "Failed to write a file" dialog appears, Screenshot:

The application is not in memory. It doesn't matter if NC's Admin Mode is enabled or where the source file is (mounted from .dmg or on local FS). Finder has no problem overwriting it. Any idea?

Confirm, NC was confused by the symlink inside.
Already fixed the issue, fix will be available in next preview build.
