alt left/right should jump between words/spaces

typically(*) Alt+horicontal arrow (resp. backspace) causes the cursor to jump (resp. deletes) single WORDs (heeding space).
This is what I'd expect in the NCs "Rename In Place" Mode too, but actually it jumps (deletes) the rest of the line. I see that it stops at dots '.' Is this behavior by design? Is there an option to change it to 'standard'?

cheers

*) typical in Finders 'Rename In-Place' mode and standard text edits, as well as this forums text editor :)

Hey akust!
This behavior was customized due to this feature request: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=321.
Though it looks like I've missed the " " (space) character itself, I'll add it. Thanks for pointing this out.
I could in theory move the definition of stop characters into the config file, but I can bet nobody will ever alter it.

PS, arrow navigation in Finder's textfields and in standard textfield differs.
Check some text with dots inside it.

i see, thank you!
(Mentioning optional config was just in case there was a reason for not stopping at spaces)
