File icons [CLOSED]

Native MacOS file icons are designed for large size. It’s difficult to distinguish file types with native icons:

Is it possible to allow user to set custom icons for different file extensions?

Hi maxim,

Frankly I doubt that such functionality should be included into Nimble Commander: you already can manage macOS icons system-wide, so like Occam said - "entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity" :)

BTW, if you have some extensions list that you want to highlight somehow - maybe give a try on coloring rules? (Preferences->Panels->Classic/Modern->Filenames coloring rules)
You can separate that files with different filename colors.

Mike.
