SHIFT-CMD-G: go to directory using $HOME instead of ~

Post by JayB » Sat Feb 11, 2017 3:28 pm

I just tried to use "$HOME" instead of "~" when trying to navigate to a directory, but Nimble Commander doesn't seem to support "$HOME".

Possible to include this as an alternative to the tilde?

I mean, processing $ signs to get environment variables is just a feature of some command-line processors.
In general, from the filesystem's POV, it's just a regular character, .
