I know it's mac-unnatural, but when you have few tabs open, and start to close tabs, so often I continue pressing cmd+w and that will close the window, which I didnt like.

If you can add this option and feature, it would be great.

Shift+Cmd+W?
This closes all tabs and the window. I believe igors' idea was to prevent NC from closing the window when Cmd+W is pressed and there is only one tab. I personally wouldn't like this behavior as it contradicts with standard UI...

In this context, a nice-to-have feature would be "Re-open closed Tab" (Cmd+Shift+T). That's present in every browser and comes handy if you closed a tab by accident. Strangely, Finder doesn't support that. IMHO it would improve NC's UI. Would be more useful than NC's current behavior, hiding the tab bar :) Just my 2 cents.

Thats correct sasha, I want to prevent NC from closing when there is only one tab.

I don't agree with the idea to fiddle with the behavior of Cmd+W, but I'm working on tabs reopening across all NC windows:
