Windows based file management is better in NC, it is true. Along with terminal feature, each window has a terminal, This is much better than single window plan which you have to switch terminal to normal view every time.mike wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 5:57 amNot sure about this. Why? Not everybody uses tabs in a file manager. I personally don't, prefer to spawn countless windows instead.rail4you wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 4:14 amOne more extra advanced feature suggestion: When I open a folder from external applications, can nimble commander open a new tab instead of reuse the first tab. Reusing tab is a normal behavior, other file managers is the same. But open a external folder tab will make tabs more clear. The tab title can add a prefix "ext" to make the tab even more clear, for example, if I open a folder named "fonts" from alfred, nc will open a new tab named "Ext fonts"(The Ext is a temp prefix).
But I find NC didn't have many mulitple windows feature. For example, nc only restore one single window state, tabs can't be transfered to other windows using drag, tabs can't change to windows. So I use single window mulitiple tabs plan currently, maybe better windows management next version?
