What about to make open recents list on right click tab plus button? It's faster and more native, safari use this logic.
Please make hotkey option for close other tabs feature.

I think... Ctrl + Cmd + W and make it rebind in settings. And add this feature in main menu -> file

The assigned hotkey is Alt+Cmd+W.
