Re: Strange terminal behavior when using zsh

I have the same problem of blinking text when listing files in the terminal using `exa`, and I have aliased `ls` to `exa with many flags`. I do not get blinking when I use the actual`ls` command that ships with macOS: `/bin/ls -l --color=always` I also do not get blinking if I turn off the coloring ...

Assign multiple shortcuts to the same action

I would like to assign multiple shortcuts to do the same thing For example, to regain the multiple methods available in Finder for moving the cursor in the file list. ^P/^N is great for moving through filter results, but adding it to NC requires disabling the arrow keys, which are nice to have in ot...

Terminal doesn't auto-cd when using zsh [CLOSED]

When I have my login shell set to `/bin/bash`, the terminal will auto-cd to match the directory I have open in the file browser panel. When I change it to `/bin/zsh`, there is no synchronization between the terminal and the file panels. The terminal and the file panels each seem to work normally oth...

Re: Drive mounted with sshfs has non-descriptive name

That fixed it, thanks!

what else might this change about the interface? I'm not sure what 'localized filenames' mean in general

Drive mounted with sshfs has non-descriptive name [CLOSED]

I mount network locations using `sshfs network_folder existing_local_folder`. In terminal, localfolder looks like a regular folder, but contains the contents of network_folder. However, in NC, both network locations are called "OSXFUSE Volume #", without anything to indicate the name of existing_loc...

How to access 'private' folders like ~/Library/Mail? [CLOSED]

Some folders that contain 'private' user data, such as ~/Library/Mail, cannot be accessed by Nimble Commander: Untitled.png These screenshots were taken in Admin mode. From the name, I would expect Admin mode to give me full access to the filesystem, or at least my own user space, but this does not ...

Re: build 2110 - mounting of network shares

i am having trouble using this feature to connect to an SMB server. I entered the information for it, but the 'save' button is greyed out (screenshot attached).

If I mount it using cmd-k in Finder, it works properly.

Re: Move item to current directory of other panel

yes, F6 does it. I did not realize this command would automatically fill in the other panel location.

Thank you for answering a silly question =)

Move item to current directory of other panel [CLOSED]

I would like to have a file selected in one panel, then do a keyboard shortcut to copy/move that file to the directory currently open in the other panel.

I guess I could write a bettertouchtool macro to do "cmd-C, tab, alt-cmd-V", but I'm guessing this is built in somewhere?

Thanks

Re: Terminal is absent

MacAppStore versions do not support this feature due to limitation of its sandbox model. Please download NC directly from the website to use the built-in terminal. (you can keep the version from MAS installed to activate the version from the website) I have downloaded the trial version from the web...
