Greater details when verifying operation results

Hi Mike I wish to have more details after moving when it says "Verifying operation results" there is no ETA, no display what file is currently beign processed and it can take quite a long time as you can guess with the size indicator. Screenshot 2021-12-29 122101.png Could you show an indicator of i...

Queued transfers show no destination folder

Hi Mike Thanks for releasing Version 1.3.0 with the new queueing system I apreciate a lot when moving lots of files to NAS. But I've noticed that queued transfers don't yet show the destination directory which can be helpful when I'm moving lots of subfolders to keep track of what I've already put i...

Re: F keys in toolbar

To be very honest, I miss that too because most keyboards don't allow to easily spot the F-Keys blindly anymore. It's just so much easier to just click the copy button somewhere. Maybe you could consider to just give us some items to put in the toolbar for copying/moving/deleting? You don't need to ...

So in case that's helpful for anyone else in the future, it works perfectly. :-)
In Big Sur you'll find "Show Info in Finder" under Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Services, Scroll down to "Text" (no longer under "Files/Folders")

Re: Handling of long operations

Yeah that would make it.
I think it would help further if the move command remembered what was skipped and didn't try to delete any of its parents. Together with a "Skip all" option it should do away with all the errors I saw.

Re: Handling of long operations

So here's what I experienced as an example of my recent situation. I wanted to free up space on my USB drive quickly but I couldn't just copy and format because I had some portable programs installed there and it would have been a hassle. So I chose to move a bunch of folders with video files with s...

Handling of long operations

Hi Mike When I leave a long running operation running I often find myself returning to my computer hours later and notice there was an error on one file which paused the whole operation (as per murphy's law it was exactly the file that was copied the moment you went out of room). I would rather have...

Move to trash from external HDs [FIXED]

Hi I found a strange bug. It looks like the trash has to be "initialized" for external drives. Here's what happens: 1. I (re)boot my machine (important once it's fixed it will only happen again after reboot) 2. I move any file from an external drive to the trash using NC. Let's say File1.txt 3. I do...

Re: Map delete key to "Move to trash"

You're right! I didn't even think about trying it in Finder. I find it a really odd and counter-intuitive behaviour, the forward delete key deletes a mail in Apple Mail and a song in Apple Music but not a photo in the Photos app, a selected conversation in messages or a file in finder. How does that...
