Re: File icons
Hi maxim, Frankly I doubt that such functionality should be included into Nimble Commander: you already can manage macOS icons system-wide, so like Occam said - "entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity" :) BTW, if you have some extensions list that you want to highlight somehow - maybe give...

build 1716 - FindFiles & Internal Viewer improvements
Hi guys, A LOT of changes were made in a built-in viewer and a Find Files sheet since last version released: ( here referencing an excellent change request by Darek: https://github.com/mikekazakov/nc/issues/36 ) Find Files makes Go To button a default after successful search. If any search settings ...

Re: How to add tool to toolbar
Any plans to develop this feature in the near future? Having keyboard shortcuts it's ok but since I have to switch everyday from using Mac at work to Windoze at home my head it's already messed up trying to remember all the different key combinations... a bunch of nice little buttons would d...

Re: Third party tools support [DONE]
I don't know why, but now when I'm using "/Applications/Beyond Compare.app" it doesn't work well: when 2 args are given, instead of comparing these files, Beyond Compare simply opens 2 tabs. I did vaguely remember updating BC recently, perhaps they've changed something? Anyway, I had to go back to ...

Re: Deselect files when add to queue
While working with ftp: - Select some files in the source folder on the mac (only pdf, for example) and copy them to the ftp - The files will be added to the queue and the transfer process will begin - At this time go to a different folder on the FTP-side - Now you want to copy other files from the...

Re: Browse jar/war files like regular folders
Well, it's pretty possible.methodho wrote:Thank you, will searching inside multiple archives be added in the following updates?
I need to do some research here, but think it's not very hard to implement.

Re: Browse jar/war files like regular folders
Searching inside an opened archive is available as on any regular folder.methodho wrote:Thanks, that's exactly what I want!
One more quick question, how can I search in archive files?
As for searching inside multiple archives somewhere is a directory - this feature is not supported yet.

Re: How to add tool to toolbar
Trying out NC here on my never ending quest for finding a Mac equivalent to the much missed Total Commander for Windows... (already gone through Commander One and CRAX). External tool configuration is the deal-breaker for me and NC seems to be good at that but for the life of me I cannot find a way...

Re: Browse jar/war files like regular folders
Hi, It would be really helpful for me if I can browse or search in jar/war files. Hi methodho, and welcome to the forum! You can already browse JAR files as regular folders, just use cmd+down hotkey to enter it. This extension is not on whitelist, I'll add it there. You can also take a look at the ...
