Re: Dragging multiple items to external applications

That sounds good, because dragging was reliably unreliable. To the point where I usually preferred to switch to Finder only to do the dragging part.

Re: build 1905 - the new UI

Yeah, in my mind there's absolutely no reason for scrolling the view without moving the cursor. I tried very hard to see why Apple went that way, but the only reasonable conclusion was that they were smoking something strong while dancing around the bonfire... and then sat down to design the UI ;) I...

Re: build 1905 - the new UI

Mike, my 2 cents: * Love the new dynamic brief mode! Just what I needed. * Judging from a couple of minutes of usage, the performance seems good. > Page Up / Page Down now actually scrolls the panel view, not moving the cursor inside it * And this is one of the EVIL things macOS does. Why on earth p...

Re: Some components of NC with MIT license

From a quick glance it looks quite cool! I'm not digging in since it's completely out of my area of expertise ;) but this kind of sharing might help with promotion / marketing, so it's a good idea.

Re: Date Added / Date Last Opened

Seems like something you could safely ignore then ;) Just support the Unix standard and see what happens in the future. From my point of view, modified date is a must, and created *might* be useful for someone in some special case. The rest... who cares? ;)

Re: Date Added / Date Last Opened

I've never used anything else than last modification date . If I sort by date, that's the only one I'm interested in. As for the others... I've only checked "Last Opened" maybe few times in my life, if even that. And "Date Added" -- do you mean the creation time? It might be useful sometimes for tra...

Re: MacBooks without functional keys row

I just hate it. Every minute of yesterday's presentation felt disappointing to me and watching the demos was just painful. It looked like they're going backwards on usability. But hey, now you can do this ;) https://twitter.com/booka3oid/status/791713082359816196 But the touch bar is one thing, but ...

Re: MacBooks without functional keys row

I'm still hoping (against all hope) that it's not true! We'll see tomorrow, I guess :) But if they do that, things will get much more complicated with external keyboards, etc.

Re: Copy filename

Yes, new lines is what I'd expect by default there. That's what Total Commander does. For bonus points and to satisfy chaps like this one , you can have an option hidden in JSON config for customizing the separator. But in my usage new line was always enough. Use case: let's say I have a bunch of im...

Oh yes, I could use that too.
