Re: Command/GoTo palette

I suggest to implement modern navigation cross functions and filesystem with Command/GoTo palette Welcome to the forum! Completely agree with you about Command/Go To Palettes. I find them incredibly useful in Sublime Text and for me, this is my #1 feature request for NC. I believe there is a lot of...

Re: "Go To Folder..." function

Go To Folder dialog always operates within a current VFS. So, e.g. going to "/etc/apache" on some MacOSX's native volume will bring you there, but if you're inside some Linux box via sftp:// - you'll go into "/etc/apache" on that machine. I understand the concept and in these cases, it works just a...

Re: Help needed

I agree with Mike, the communication with the Wikipedia admin was unnecessarily harsh. However, I do understand that the article was taken down. Statements like "It is very lightweight and very responsive, something which the many alternatives seem to struggle with." "It is a very good alternative t...

Re: build 2412 - WebDAV support

First impression of WebDAV support is good, thanks for adding it. Quick thought on hotkeys: the hotkeys list in NC's Preferences has become quite long. Maybe add a text input box to filter for relevant entries? Like in NC's menu bar (Help -> Search). That way, if you want to change some hotkeys for ...

"Go To Folder..." function

The scope of the "Go To Folder..." (Cmd+Shift+G) function depends on the current panel's folder. This is a bit confusing: Example 1: - Current folder is on local file system, e.g "/etc/apache2" - Open "Go To Folder..." - Going to local folders like "~/Desktop" is possible Example 2: - Current panel ...

Re: Tabs context menu

I agree that a basic context menu for tabs is a good idea. Finder has a very simple one: nc_tabs.png It would be nice if NC behaved like Finder in this case (except for the "...New Window" entry). Same goes for right-clicking on the folder name string in the head of the list. Finder displays a list ...

Re: Minor GUI glitches [FIXED]

For what it's worth, the glitch is still present in Build 2382. Can't reproduce it, but I have a feeling that it occurs sometimes after waking waking up the system from standby. Also, it occurs across the different themes. Resizing the main window makes it disappear.

Re: Image preview

This is a macOS QuickLook issue, it's the same in Finder's preview. Here's the original post: http://magnumbytes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=146 The "floating window" version of Quick Look (pressing Space in Finder) doesn't upscale small images. According to Mike, we'll see this feature in NC in 1...

Re: Version 1.2.1 released

... the CRAX Experience(tm) ... Darek, you made my day :D Personally, I'm not a big fan of advertisement like "...best TC alternative for Mac". A really sleazy example is the Commander One website, where they even have a "Approved by Christian Ghisler as Total Commander for Mac" badge - which is re...
