Re: build 1341 - new directory listings, Pt. II
Bugs noticed: 1) Favorites menu and History menu are still not working from Panel 2) Hitting 'Escape' in this dialog should mean 'Abort'. Currently it clicks 'Hide' which is very confusing. Feature requests: 1) Please make a way to open directory that contains a file from within Panel 2) if search ...

build 1362 - new directory listings, Pt. III
Greetings! Here are next steps in current refactoring of Files: http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.1.0(1362).zip News: - unix attributes changing operation now supports non-uniform listings - history navigation now works after feeding search results into panel - Menu->File->Open in ...

Re: Command line
Indeed it is. But If I understand correctly it still requires a shortcut to switch between the panels and the terminal window. Ideally I would like to avoid it. With how I use it would be easy to predict where the input should be routed. If it is a character -> terminal window. Navigation keys or a...

Re: Command line
Just a friendly poke in regards of a well sought after feature... I am half way there with the current implementation, so can not wait for further developments. Hi don! Hmm... huh? We're talking about routing regular keyboard input into overlapped terminal or am I missing something here? Routing in...

Oh!
Looks like they are changing the internals and deprecating current APIs at the same time.
Bad, bad idea...

Re: Favorites (El Capitan)
Hi achekulaev,
By console I've meant Console.app, which shows system.log.
In the last build I've updated source to use to a newer API to grab those favourites, perhaps it would help.
If not - please take a look at log, there should be some error.
Mike.

build 1341 - new directory listings, Pt. II
Hi all! Here's a second preview of version 1.1.0: http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.1.0(1341).zip News on the last week: - Deletion was rewritten from scratch, now this operation supports working with non-uniform listings (secure deletion was removed, presumably no one really used ...

Re: Favorites (El Capitan)
It's quite interesting.
This favourites list is a stub for a case if regular retrieving fails.
Never really expected that code would be executed.
Anything is written in a console meanwhile?

Re: build 1310 - new directory listings
Hi achekulaev, Thanks for all your feedback! History with non-uniform listings is completely broken now, will fix it soon. Updates on file search: - focus moves to table view after search finished, as you've advised - ctrl+V hotkey to view currently selected file - I've done some UI-related optimiza...

Re: Ability to reveal file/folder by passing commandline arguments
Well ok, that's an area where I frankly have very small knowledge. I know that there's a magic "NSFileViewer" defaults value, that may, in theory, substitute Finder in some applications. Even more, I know that currently Files does not behave in this role as it should. One user had sent me a script t...
