Re: Favorites (El Capitan)

Hi achekulaev,

By console I've meant Console.app, which shows system.log.

In the last build I've updated source to use to a newer API to grab those favourites, perhaps it would help.
If not - please take a look at log, there should be some error.

Mike.

build 1341 - new directory listings, Pt. II

Hi all! Here's a second preview of version 1.1.0: http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.1.0(1341).zip News on the last week: - Deletion was rewritten from scratch, now this operation supports working with non-uniform listings (secure deletion was removed, presumably no one really used ...

Re: Favorites (El Capitan)

It's quite interesting.
This favourites list is a stub for a case if regular retrieving fails.
Never really expected that code would be executed.
Anything is written in a console meanwhile?

Re: build 1310 - new directory listings

Hi achekulaev, Thanks for all your feedback! History with non-uniform listings is completely broken now, will fix it soon. Updates on file search: - focus moves to table view after search finished, as you've advised - ctrl+V hotkey to view currently selected file - I've done some UI-related optimiza...

Re: Ability to reveal file/folder by passing commandline arguments

Well ok, that's an area where I frankly have very small knowledge. I know that there's a magic "NSFileViewer" defaults value, that may, in theory, substitute Finder in some applications. Even more, I know that currently Files does not behave in this role as it should. One user had sent me a script t...

Re: Search count bug

Fixed. As usual - there are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation and naming things. (c)

Re: El Capitan: often crashes when trying to see file

Hi,
After several hours on this issue I have some results:
- good news: seems that current glitch was localized (with some really weird connections) and Files does not crash anymore.
- bad news: it's definitely a bug inside Apple's 10.11 AppKit itself, so I can't be confident on anything.

Re: Ability to reveal file/folder by passing commandline arguments

That makes sense.
But I thought that Files already supports "Reveal In..." for maybe last two years.
Am I missing something here?
