Files Pro [CLOSED]
Good day, After I got my Files Pro upgraded through App Store to 1.1.1 I started to get the following pop up with Files: --------------------- This is a trial version of Files manager. After a period of one month you must have a version from App Store installed on your hard drive or delete Files man...

Re: Tilde character doesn't work in terminal
Good day.
Not sure if I have anything useful to suggest, but tilde is also used to go to home folder and there is an option in settings.
Could those be related? Could you pls try disabling the option in Preferences -> Panels -> Common?
Cheers.

Re: View mode setting is lost?
Good day!
Anything new on this case?
Is there a log file I could collect to help identifying the issue?

Re: View mode setting is lost?
Checked the setting. It is not ticked. The problem I am experiencing is that sometimes Files starts correctly and sometimes it looses the view setting and/or show invisible files setting. In regards of the new window - is it possible to enforce the default settings somehow? So the settings used for ...

View mode setting is lost? [FIXED]
Good day,
starting with the last update I am observing a strange behaviour - time to time Files looses the view mode setting. My preferred one is Wide and for some reason (I can not identify as to why) it reverts back to Medium. On restart. Both panels.
Any ideas where to look?

Re: Save tabs on exit. Restore on start [DONE]
The immediate guess that it should. Are we talking about the system wide "restore last window state" option? The gutfeeling I have, however, is that involving the global option could be problematic down the line - Files is a unique app. It somewhat blures the line between a windowed app and the comm...

Re: Save tabs on exit. Restore on start [DONE]
Duplicating the idea here. My preference would be - not to save the path of a tab, but rather default to what I select. - save the window position ( I am rolling them up a little) Can we add a config option to got to a predefined path? What would work for me is a command to save the current state as...

Re: build 1457 - state persistence
Question. With this feature my right panel always remembers as to where I was prior exiting. My left panel always defaults to $HOME. Is there a way to predefine where to start? I would very much prefer the app _not_ to remember the last state and rather start with defaults that I specify. Apologies ...
