Hi folks!

Finally Nimble Commander v1.1.2 is here, bringing the following changes:
- Changed the application’s title to Nimble Commander
- Added basic support for editing remote files
- Added support for lightweight search with Spotlight
- Added the new ⌥⌘V shortcut to move item here
- Added support for remapping the main navigation keys
- Fixed the problem of connecting to SSH-less SFTP servers
- Fixed the issue with changing the case when renaming folders
- Made some improvements in the FindFiles panel’s UI
- Made lots of other minor fixes and improvements
- Finally it can be activated without the MacAppStore version

It's available for download at a new website: http://magnumbytes.com/, download links from an old website at http://filesmanager.info/ will also lead to latest release.

An auto-update system is a bit quirky this time and it won't work the regular way, because of changed title.
Soon I'll release a temporary update for Files v1.1.1, which will download a usual .dmg installer for Nimble Commander, so it can be installed with fewer clicks.

With regards,
Mike.

Hey Mike, so what's the best way to upgrade right now? Just delete both Mac App Store and standalone copies of the old version and then install Nimble Commander fresh?

* Will it carry over previous settings?
* How about the activation -- will it carry over as well?

I don't care about auto update, just let me know the manual steps and I'm good :)

Hi Darek,

Nimble Commander can pick up current settings of previous Files installation (it will be remained intact).
Just download a fresh .dmg from a website and drag it into /Applications as usual.

As for activation - I'll send you a new "external" license soon.

Mike.

Good day,

Do I still need to run App Store Pro version and the downloaded one side by side?

Apologies if it has bee written up somewhere - missed that.

P.S. Do you think I could also trade up App Store version for the external license?

Hi don,

Just drop me a PM with your info and I'll send you a license for standalone version, so no MAS version would be required.

Mike.
