drag-drop to firefox [FIXED]

Post by d0ublezer0 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 9:15 am

when more than one files selected and you drag it to firefox - drops only first in queue
tried at flickr, yandex.disk, google.drive

but:
drop from finder to firefox - ok
drop from NC to chrome - ok

firefox bug or NC?

I've tested it with Safari, adding binaries to GitHub releases. Sometimes it works with drag-dropping two files at the same time, sometimes it doesn't. Will check again with the next version.

Some drag-and-drop issues with Finder.

In Finder, pressing Alt+Ctrl while dragging creates a link. In NC, pressing Ctrl adds the "link arrow" to the mouse cursor, but doesn't create the links if multiple files are selected. I would prefer if Finder's keyboard modifier were used (and the functionality added).

Dragging from NC to Finder currently doesn't work for me at all. Doesn't matter if one or more files are selected and dragged, which keyboard modifier is used or what the destination is (Desktop or Finder window).

Dragging from Finder to NC is not intuitive for me. Default for drag-and-drop action is move. But when I drag files to NC, the mouse cursor gets a "+" so files are copied. One has to press Cmd to get rid of the "+" and move files. Again, I would prefer Finder's default behavior.

Loosely drag-and-drop related: It would be nice if tabs could be dragged-and-dropped between panels :)

Just tried dragging two shell scripts (.sh) to BBEdit (already open), and only one .sh opened.

Build 2042 is a real improvement in terms of drag-and-drop, nice! These things could use some attention:

- drag and link within NC doesn't work for multiple selected items
- drag and move/link from NC to Finder doesn't work at all
- drag and move/link from Finder to NC doesn't work at all
- keyboard modifiers in NC are still different from Finder's
