I have a question about folder size functionality....when it works it is super but it is the "when" my question revolves around.

The File > Calculate Folder Sizes or the Calculate All Folder sizes sometimes works and other times does nothing. The little working symbol may simply spins around if at all - I have experimented and after 2 hours - nothing. No folder size or sizes at all.

The keyboard shortcuts do not work consistently either. Sometimes I get one folder size but then nothing after that.

So what am I doing wrong? If the selection from the menu does not work and the keyboard shortcuts do not work, is there another way to obtain this information?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm not quite sure what can be going on here.
There's no special way to compute the sizes apart from the default hotkeys.
Is there a specific setup that reproducibly leads to this issue?

Not certain what you mean by "specific setup" - do you mean OS? Using Montery.

Well the internals of NC are pretty deterministic, so I'd expect it to behave exactly the same way given the same input.
That folder - what's inside? How large is the folder, e.g. how many items are there? Is that a local folder or a network drive?
