BTW, "Doctors recommend" mechanical keyboards.

I use MX Cherry Browns with Red o-rings. Another one is a Topre TypeHeaven.
Also want to try WASD Code with MX Whites.

Greetings, I am also interested in adding custom keys to control the cursor from keyboard. I have in mind to use 'hjkl' keys, similarly to Vim movement keys.

Hmm.

It should be possible, I guess, when custom navigation bindings are in the config file.

Then one would need to disable the "Route keyboard input to the overlapped terminal" feature and put hjkl as the navigation keys in the config.

Though I would still expect some issues with text entering - Files does not distinguish between the input mode and command mode as vi does AFAIK.

Hi folks,

It's time to animate this topic :)
I've made some rearrangements and added a possibility to redefine the main navigation keys in Preferences, such as (by default):
→, ←, ↑, ↓, ⇞, ⇟, ↖, ↘, ⌤, /, ~, ␣.
(also, after playing a bit with it, I think INSERT hotkey should be moved to ALT+DOWN - it's more usable and makes more sense)

Only the following keys left hardcoded (if nothing was missed):
- ⇥ - Tab
- ⎋ - Escape
- ⌫ - Backspace

Coming in next preview build.
