Config portability

Good day.

Have not got much time, just wanted to say thank you again.

Just got installed Nimble on Another mac and the config has been ported by copying over the files. Super simple.

Great design - appreciate it.

Nimble Commander - the driver of the everyday workflow

Good day. Just wanted to share a bit of my experience of using Nimble Commander (and I just have noticed that it abbreviates to NC - nice one, Mike). NC drives my daily workflow - it is alway open and it is the tool that initiates a majority of my dev operations. Even when I need to start a terminal...

Thank you.

What a wonderful place. Getting recommendations not only on the best productivity tool, but also on Mac in general.

Thank you, Mike.

Re: Build 2588 - v1.2.3 RC

Got an interesting issue.

Not sure if related to the latest version - I think it might have been present with the earlier stable release.

Alternative ENTER for shell scripts [CLOSED]

First of all - I have sorted out the custom favorites - and they are awesome. Thank you. It is much, much easier and nicer to work. Secondly - I do like the alternative option for the "ENTER" command (Shift-Enter). One issue though - I think it is an issue - with the shell scripts. When I open up an...

I am late to the party but I really liked that you can also rearrange them.

Re: build 2110 - mounting of network shares

I've added some functionality to close another hole in NC, which often caused switching to Finder. It's the mounting of local network shares, now they can be handled similar to FTP/SFTP connections. Have a few items to raise 1. This is bloody awesome - thank you. 2. Need to be able to configure key...

Re: build 1996 - new UI, part V

One more question, if you wouldn't mind. By any change, do you have a "show hidden files" option turned off? Or, does this discoloring ever happens when there are no hidden item in directory? Yes, I usually run with this option off. When I need to see the hidden files I just enable them with a keyb...

Re: build 2042 - new UI, part VI

[*] Made QuickSearch->"Show only matching items" selected by default. Also refreshed a QuickSearch preferences tab. This is a very cool thing! I did not know this before, or did not pay attention to it. Awesome! Yeah - that was actually a big breakthrough. The other day I have stumbled upon that an...
