Re: Some questions
I've been living in Commanders since Norton in DOS days and honestly, I don't remember ever thinking "If only I didn't have to press ENTER after F6, life would be much easier" Completely agree :) Personally, I think it would be good to start thinking about what can be removed from NC to make it eas...

Re: Build 2671 - v1.2.4 RC
Re-open closed tabs is a major update for me. Great job! A few minor suggestions:
- Change default shortcut to Cmd+Shift+T, like Chrome, Sublime, Visual Studio Code, and many others
- Change name from "Restore last Closed Panel" to something like "Reopen Closed Tab", like the aforementioned

Maybe a "Re-open Closed Tab" function would also be useful here? As requested in

Re: Request: F3 -> view
A quick workaround:
1. Preferences -> Tools. Create a new tool, chose Marked and add %p to Parameters.
2. Preferences -> Hotkeys. Add a keyboard shortcut for the tool you created. If you want F3 to work, you probably have to turn off Mission Control in macOS System Preferences.

Re: Request: CMD+W does not close the window
Shift+Cmd+W? This closes all tabs and the window. I believe igors' idea was to prevent NC from closing the window when Cmd+W is pressed and there is only one tab. I personally wouldn't like this behavior as it contradicts with standard UI... In this context, a nice-to-have feature would be "Re-open...

This build works fine for me. Especially the tab-dragging between panels is a nice feature. Looking forward to the RC with floating QuickLook

Re: Background color for selected items [DONE]
I agree, it doesn't look good in the current state. Mail.app's traditional view also has different list background colors. But they cover the complete line width, like NC's wide view (which I only use) and here, it looks ok: mail.png In your example (short view) the colored lines ending in the middl...
