Re: Some folders are not visible? [CLOSED]

JayB, There are some other hidden files normally not showing up, i.e. actual "invisible" files, important ones. I think they're called "cloaked". I currently have 5 cloaked files/directories in my root directory, next to the files/dirs with the "standard" hidden flag. Does Nimble Commander have a wa...

Re: build 1923 - new UI, part II

JayB, Crashed on my system (note: also happens occasionally with the stable version): Yep, thanks for crash report, pretty dumb bug in fact, same as mentioned here: http://magnumbytes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=178 I'll upload a new preview build, now with three modes supported (modern, classic &...

Re: Crash: open in opposite tab & on subsequent relaunches

Bug in build 1812 confirmed, thanks for info. It appears I already got this bug reported just few days ago, so will copy an explanation here: The crash was caused by “icons mode” options changed in Preferences, and apparently nobody touched it for a very long time. You can revert it easily with text...

Re: Sidebar with tree view

Hello JayB and welcome to the forum! I've been looking into Rixstep's Xfile software, and a good thing to have would be an (optional!) sidebar with a tree view of the volume, drop down menus for quick navigation, toggle hidden files in sidebar (default on), but possibly a better way to access extern...

Offtopic - HNY 2017

Dear friends, Just a few words towards this small community - best wishes to all of you in coming 2017! :) It was a quite busy year for me and for this humble project. Some major changes were made, a lot of minor improvements were introduced, and more is yet to come. Currently I'm working on UI them...

Re: build 1923 - new UI, part II

Darek, This is awful and can't be left as is. Can you show me console output of this build? (some of logging points assumes that viewer uses the same window) http://magnumbytes.com/downloads/previews/nimble-commander-1.1.5(1926)-viewer-logging.zip Also, for another pieces of this puzzle: - it happen...

Re: crash after disabling "show hidden options"

Hi tomekb and welcome to the forum!

Thanks for reporting this glorious bug :)
Just fixed it, if you really want to use previews/betas - I can upload a new build.
It's, however, better to use stable releases - v1.1.5(1812) is quite solid, I've double checked it for reported crash.

Re: build 1923 - new UI, part II

Darek, thanks, * It looks like mouse wheel scroll doesn't work in brief mode (or any other mode except for the full view?). There's a horizontal scroll in brief mode, it currently assumes trackpad (or any similar input device) with a horizontal scrolling gesture. I think it's possible to "emulate" i...

Since preview builds of new UI are already available (http://magnumbytes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=177) - I'm closing this topic.
