Re: "Get Info" dialog?
There is no "get info" dialog feature in Nimble Commander, but you can use some nice feature to get job done. 1. ^A opens "file attributes" dialog, you can even set file attributes with selected files. 2. When right click the file, you can press "alt" key to get more functions, for example, "open w...

Re: "Forward" navigation support for temporary panel
Well, just mere year and a half has passed, and I've added a history support for temporary panels. (sarcasm mode) Not sure about modification of temporary panels though, especially what UX should it be. xyplorer has a paper folder feature, it is the best virtual folders design. The detail is: https...

TC like Branch View feature
TC has a nice feature named "Branch View", you click "ctrl+b"(b for branch), TC will show a flat files list, the files are from subfolders of current folder. It is a modern "tree" command and it's very useful to find files , I use it every day. I am glad I can clone this feature in NC, NC search sta...

Re: "Open with" keyboard shortcut doesn't work
I find this option very useful as I tend to open files in some circumstances with a non-default application. Would be cool if the keyboard shortcut would just produce the submenu list (just like e.g. the favorites shortcut opens a quick favorites list, the "open with" shortcut could open a list wit...

Re: "Open with" keyboard shortcut doesn't work
When I wrote I assign a (non-conflicting) keyboard shortcut , I meant that I made sure that it is not conflicting by removing conflicting shortcuts :) When you click "open with" item in file menu, it does nothing too, this is not a hotkey problem. I guess "open with" can't be used alone, it works w...

Re: "Open with" keyboard shortcut doesn't work
I set "ctrl+enter", it doesn't work. I think "open with" is a special function you can't set hotkey to use it directly.

Re: "Open with" keyboard shortcut doesn't work
Alt + Enter is a default hotkey, it is "reveal in opposite panel". You can click the right corner "default" button to reset hotkeys.

Re: Request: F3 -> view
Yeah, that is just a workaround... Could you pleeease add this feature? It is basically the same as edit :) In fact, you can add a column there, in the F4 editors list, so user can use checkbox if some application should be used as a viewer and/or editor: That way you can reuse the same form, and s...

Re: The comparison of TC-clones
Nimber or Nimble :) Yeah, I ended with Nimble as well - which means I find it the best so far - although wish to have a bit more power. Yes, the list is old; Ive made it for TotalCommander author, but he never figured out how to use it :( Nimble is a strange name, I typed it as "nimber" even "numbe...
