The user has the ability to quickly move up to the parent folder with [CMD]-↑
It would be great to have the ability to "take files or folders with us", when navigating upward. When a file or folder (or several files/folders) is (are) selected, and the user hits [CMD]-[SHIFT]-↑, NC will navigate to the parent folder, as before, but also move the selected files to that folder. If the user hits [CMD]-[SHIFT]-[ALT]-↑ instead, then the files will be copied instead of moved.
Move|Copy File(s)|Folder(s) to parent directory

What about simple
Cmd+C
Cmd+Up
Cmd+V / Alt+Cmd+V ?
Since, seriously, no one will remember yet another combination with arrow keys.
