Request: F3 -> view
Request: F3 -> view
What about the custom viewers? For example, I do want to edit my Markdown files with Sublime, but want to view them with Marked. So it would be cool to have the same features as for editing for the F3 (view).
Re: Request: F3 -> view
A quick workaround:
1. Preferences -> Tools. Create a new tool, chose Marked and add %p to Parameters.
2. Preferences -> Hotkeys. Add a keyboard shortcut for the tool you created. If you want F3 to work, you probably have to turn off Mission Control in macOS System Preferences.

Re: Request: F3 -> view
Yeah, that is just a workaround...
Could you pleeease add this feature? It is basically the same as edit In fact, you can add a column there, in the F4 editors list, so user can use checkbox if some application should be used as a viewer and/or editor:
That way you can reuse the same form, and should be easy for development. Yet, powerful feature.
And add an option to failback to default viewer.

Re: Request: F3 -> view
I think "custom tools" is the better answer. "View" or "Edit" are all subset of custom tools, F3 and F4 are only traditional key binding.igors wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2017 11:17 amYeah, that is just a workaround...

If "Quick Lists" has a custom tool item, you will pick other "viewer" or "editor" easily (Quick lists have a filter feature). I hope add this more general feature instead giving us a complex F3 F4 config.
BTW, I hate enhanced F3, F4 plugins in TC. It is a mass.
Re: Request: F3 -> view
That also make sense; i just want to be able to use F3 and F4 with different apps.
