Opening files that are directory bundles [CLOSED]
Hi! Some applications, like Tables ( https://www.x-tables.eu/ ) saves their files as a directory bundle or what they call it. (Some flag or something tells Finder it's to be treated as a file/bundle.) If I press enter on these in NC, I just enter the directoy, it doesn't open the app to edit the fil...

Image Dimensions
Hi! I find myself often needing to check dimensions of image files (PNG, JPEG etc). While Show info in Finder works well enough, it's a bit slow. FinderDimensions.jpg I was wondering if it would be feasible to show this info quicker somehow in Nimble Commander. For example if it could be shown in th...

Re: Control which services are shown?
Changed to "any app" instead of just Finder in Automator.
That helped for some strange reason ...

Control which services are shown? [CLOSED]
Hi! I've created a few services of my own, in particular a few services for PDF files. These are available in Finder, but not in Nimble Commander. I assume that's because the services are specific to PDF files? So, now I have to "Show files in Finder" (which works well, the selected files are select...

Re: Default file browser?
Sadly that solution doesn't work in every case. Some apps use AppleEvents or AppleScript or something, and actually call Finder specifically to reveal a path, and then Finder will activate. It's annoying. But in many scenarios it works fine. Yes, I guess all Finder alternatives will have this issue...

Re: 3 ideas
Semantics ... Linux/UNIX GUI file managers (and even TUI tools like ranger, IIRC) has the logic of cut and paste (as does windows file explorer) and I never had disasters, and TotalFinder's implementation worked really well, for years ... But that doesn't really matter. I'm saying it would rea...

Re: Default file browser?
Thanks. It's still info.filesmanager.Files, even when the name is now Nimble?

Re: 3 ideas
1) You can use Cmd+C and then Alt+Cmd+V instead. I really don't understand what Cmd+X is for file managers - this can only be a fake. Not sure what you mean by fake. TotalFinder and Pathfinder implement Cut&Paste by Cmd+C and Cmd+V, instead of the weird Finder/Apple convention of Copy (Cmd+C) and M...

Default file browser?
Tried searching, but didn't really find if this was already answered: Can I somehow set NC to be the default File Browser, such as "Reveal in Finder" would show the file/folder in NC instead of Finder? If yes, does it work well? (While using Pathfinder, I could set it to be the default file browser,...

Re: 3 ideas
For this #3: It seems I can map Cmd+i to this in system preferences.3. It would be nice to have Finder's "Get Info" available.
