I really like this approach and look forward to trying it out. Amazing response time, Mike! Also agreeing with warpkanal's comments.

Re: Quick search in lists
Now that NC can manage favorites, I'm using lists even more often, especially F1/F2 and Cmd+3.
As my lists have a lot of entries, a Quick Search (as implemented for the panels) would be very nice help navigating in lists. That's why I'm carefully pushing this thread up again

Minor GUI glitches [FIXED]
In build 2118, but also in recent previous ones, I noticed occasional glitches in the GUI. I didn't figure out how to reproduce them, but here's a screenshot: nc_glitch.png Mostly, it's lines or borders that are drawn a bit off. The glitches remain even if I change the CWD. If I resize the window, t...

Re: build 2110 - mounting of network shares
Very nice to see this feature added. I'm looking forward to using it with keyboard hotkeys! There seems to be one error that is not caught: trying to connect to a SMB share when I'm not in the local network creates a spinner in the toolbar until NC crashes after a timeout. Error log attached. Quick ...

Re: Is there a "Show in Finder..." ?
You can select a folder (or "..") and press Shift+Enter to quickly open it in Finder. Or select any item, Services -> Reveal in Finder.

Re: Shell script support
I've just had a look at fman – https://fman.io … it's a very rudimentary file manager, extremely fast – just check /usr/share/man/man1 –... As you brought fman up, I really like how they "borrowed" Sublime Text's Goto-Anything (Cmd+P) function (and even kept the keyboard shortcut). IMHO, a more use...

Re: build 2042 - new UI, part VI
I'm using the new build now (2053)… no issues so far, except for one: there are moments when I can't drop files into a folder, e.g. I select 5 files with CMD-click, then try to move them to a folder—in the current case it's in the same directory—, the folder gets highlighted (in my case with blue l...

Re: drag-drop to firefox
Guys, please check out the latest build. Build 2042 is a real improvement in terms of drag-and-drop, nice! These things could use some attention: - drag and link within NC doesn't work for multiple selected items - drag and move/link from NC to Finder doesn't work at all - drag and move/link from F...
