Re: Nimble Commander installation/Licensing

Hi pomJ, Thanks for your support! Nimble Commander should accept Files Pro just it was before. Just make sure that Files Pro is installed on default path (/Applications), and there's a valid receipt with it (sometimes MacAppStore messing things a bit) - it should be at /Applications/Files Pro.app/Co...

Re: Quick search in lists

Hi sasha! This idea looks great and I like it. However, I have some doubts that Cocoa's menu system will let me to intercept key strokes while menu is shown. (current implementation of quick lists relies on standard menu system solely) Have you seen any examples of such on-the-fly filtration of menu...

Re: Some another offtopic

Don, I haven't thought about any further working on "science" field.
I think it's better to devote my time to something useful "here and now" - like this project :)

Re: Progress bar improvements

Hi sasha! Thank for interesting ideas - I didn't realize before that window title can contain some information regarding ongoing operations. I like this one a lot. Behavior presented on screenshot looks like a bug with some inconsistency between views/bindings, I'll investigate it. Overall, I person...

Re: Connect to SMB share

Hi guys,
Yes, I have to switch to Finder for that task too. Absolutely agree that this would be a useful feature.

Darek, I'm still struggling with new website and other stuff. Public issue tracker is on TODO list and I think GitHub can nicely fit for this usage - it's responsive and user-friendly.

Re: build 1607 - navigation keys remapping

Don, Nope, currently only a single hotkey for an action can be configured. I can in theory let multiple hotkeys to be defined for non-menu actions (like panel navigation), but it would require some rearrangements in current hotkeys management system. It is possible to test your ideas now, with singl...

Re: build 1607 - navigation keys remapping

Yep, I chose DigitalOcean and like it so far. Was quite surprised of overall user-friendliness - I was expecting something like an awful VMware console, but seems that overall handling of Linux VMs is not painful nowadays.
