Re: Mount/Unmount
Just a quick note: Eject Volume is quite unreliable for me as well. I've often had situations with external USB drives where it did nothing. Clicking the eject button in Finder on the other hand always did the trick.

Re: "Brief" view mode
Mike, it's simple, at least in theory You just make the column width match the longest name in current directory. Here's how Commander One does it, which is pretty much the same as in Total Commander:

Re: Favorites lists hotkeys
Quick note:
1. I believe the shortcuts are taken from Finder directly, so you can set them up there.
2. As for shortcuts, charactcers work there too. So I have "Dropbox 4", but I never type 4. Instead I press F2 and type "dr", press enter and voila -- I'm in Dropbox

Re: "Brief" view mode
"Dynamic column width" OH YES! That thing please. It's one of these features that I miss in Files terribly and I hate the fact that the file name is cut in brief mode. I was waiting for a good moment to bring this up to Mike, but it looks like you've beaten me to it

Re: Remove folder and files sometime fails
Yeah, there is something fishy going on with file deletions. I haven't experience the problems Maxim mentioned above, but I've noticed strange behavior. Sometimes there's a weird delay and the view "catches up" with the fact that files were deleted only after a few seconds. And sometime it doesn't r...

Re: Batch rename - unclear situation
Hehe... yeah, that grey OK gave it out ;) Adding "collision" either close to the red file names or near the OK button would probably help. But it's a small cosmetic issue, very low priority. No need to do anything about this now. I've just reported it since when I started writing I was thinking it's...

Batch rename - unclear situation
Figuring out this image took me a while. I've actually started reporting this as a highlight bug (I thought red ink show names that will be changed ;) ) but only then realized that what I have there is a rename collision and red ink marks them. This is small thing, but could be a good idea to add so...

Re: build 1457 - state persistence
Well, well Looks like I had this enabled too, but I don't remember changing it myself. And it's disabled on my other machine. So perhaps some bug after one of the system updates? Hard to say. Anyway, once I switched it off, Files work as expected. All is good now!
