Re: No access to most of folders in free version

Hello timprox and welcome to the forum! MacAppStore requires that every app published there will be "sandboxed". It mean that by default is has no access to any resources - in this case no access to filesystem outside it's private container. (you can take a look at Wiki's article on sandboxing in ge...

Re: JIRA / Issue tracker

Friends, I've moved most of tasks in my private issue tracker to a public one: https://github.com/mikekazakov/nimble-commander/issues This URL surely looks badly, but I don't know if GitHub allows any domain substitution for it's main functionality (GitHub Pages allows only static content). It's qui...

Re: Use F-keys without Fn [DONE]

1) After installing and launching build 1631, the user is directly greeted by the Authentication Warning ("Nimble Commander" would like to control this computer using accessibility features). Maybe inexperienced users are scared by this because at first launch it's not clear what setting needs auth...

Re: Use F-keys without Fn

Hi sasha, Thank your for searches and links. Karabiner can surely work, but that's such a heavy and unfriendly solution.. Anyway, great news are that I've finally understood (dumb me! ) how an app can intercept a key presses flow and make some changes in it. It all goes down to "Privacy->Acce...

Re: Version 1.1.2 released

Hi don,

Just drop me a PM with your info and I'll send you a license for standalone version, so no MAS version would be required.

Mike.

Forum relocation

Dear friends,

I've moved the entire forum to new hosting/domain, sorry for some inconvenience with that.
In theory everything should work as before - logins, posts etc etc.
But in case something is broken - please drop me a note at support@magnumbytes.com.

With regards,
Mike.

Re: Version 1.1.2 released

Hi Darek,

Nimble Commander can pick up current settings of previous Files installation (it will be remained intact).
Just download a fresh .dmg from a website and drag it into /Applications as usual.

As for activation - I'll send you a new "external" license soon.

Mike.
