build 1187 - overlapped terminal, keyboard input routing
Hi everybody! I've added an option to route a keyboard input from panels to overlapped terminal (very much like in Far): http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.0.8(1187).zip By default this option is turned OFF, you can find it in Preferences->Panels->Common. Of course QuickSearch shoul...

Re: build 1176 - overlapped terminal draft, evolution
achekulaev, Tnx for bug info, already fixed. As for tabs - there are plans to embed them, but I was looking towards tabs in "fullwindow" terminal only. Tabs that holding file panels are already tied with many constraints - for example they are placed inside a horizontal split view so they are not co...

build 1182 - overlapped terminal
Hi everybody! One more step in transparent terminal integration: http://filesmanager.info/downloads/previews/files-1.0.8(1182).zip News: - all overlapped terminal related hotkeys are configurable now - ctrl+alt+cmd+enter (surely can be bound to other keys) hotkey to show a paste menu with 4 elements...

In theory - yes.achekulaev wrote:Oh! I see now. Could we have corresponding access letters underlined in labels?migun wrote:Access keys are bound to Ctrl modifier
In practice - which letter to underline in Russian string translation for "S"?
I haven't seen such hotkeys underlining in Mac UX yet.

Re: File Find dialog - enhancements
don, I'm a bit against such regrouping since a lot users prefer mouse access and visual structure is important IMHO. As for keyboard-only access - how about this (already available): - cmd+F - type extention (*.java) - ctrl+T - type text - Enter What do you think, can this be faster than hitting Tab...

Re: Directory history dropdown
Ok, I'll work on such functionality together with upper-paths list.
Binding to some shortcut is not a problem, apart from that shortcuts are becoming countless...

Re: Share your themes!
don,
AFAIK there's no such support in FAR, it was "imported" from TC due to some user's request.
darek,
Currently there's no way to use arrows to navigate between "soft filtered" items when "no modifiers" is set, it's a UI weakness in Files.

Re: Share your themes!
Menu->Preferences->Panels->Quick Search: there's check box called "Soft filtering". Perhaps it's not the most obvious name :) When this option is ON - after typing the cursor is moved to first matching filename and you can move it between other matching filename using modifier+keys, but other items ...

Re: Share your themes!
I can share my settings:
- Modern appearance
- Default colouring
- Volume information bar is turned off
- "Soft filtering" is turned off, no modifiers in Quick Search and Where to search = Anywhere. Saves me a lot of time when navigating.
