Strange Panel Behaviour/Freezing after batch rename [FIXED]

Hi Mike,

it's an old bug and finally I've decided to report about it!

during batch rename process (1000+ files) and few minutes after active panel isn't browsing through folders/volumes, stucking in a top row position. It happens while and till little rotating grey circle appearing in the right top corner of the panel. After it disappears everything works fine. It's not a big problem, but just annoying cause you can't use one panel until grey circle disappears and sometimes and might take 1-3-5 minutes (depending on batch size and drive speed)

Wow, that's really odd.
I've tried to reproduce this behaviour with a local network by renaming 1K+ files on an SMB share, but it worked as expected for me.
I have a hunch though what might be causing this "overflow" of update requests, let's see if next preview build would cooperate better.
What version of NC is that by the way?

I've reproduced the same with 40000+ files on fast SSD drive (samsung t5) and it was the same just after copy operation was finished, here is the link for a screen recording, could you check it?

Hello Mike,

Something about freeze/crash too:
After using for long time v1.4 and Ventura latest version, I am now having issues with drag n drop.
Actually when I am trying to move files (after Search and View to Panel) to the right side, the app crashes 10/10

If I use my shortcut to move opton+F6 all will go well.

Hopefully is something on my system or others having the same issue?

I can provide video of crash if needed but i still have a huge pile of stuff i need to kick away first

Both issues are now fixed, at least I can't reproduce them anymore, so hopefully the next build will behave correctly.
