Request: Shift+F4 = Create new file
Request: Shift+F4 = Create new file
F4 is editing.
Shift+F4 should be creating new file. The dialog appears to enter the file name. The file is save and then opened.
Thank you.

In other words: maybe provide optional additional key settings that is more "total-commander" alike? Nimble says its keyboard-oriented, so let give options.

It is already here: simply change hotkey from Cmd+N to Shift+F4 in your settings:

That's Alt+Cmd+N by default.

THanx - off topic: how can I search for keyboard shortcut as in above screenshot?
Re: Request: Shift+F4 = Create new file
I like the idea of creating a file and immediately calling the appropriate editor based on the file's extension.
However, looks like that this will work only for plain-text files like .txt, .md, .sh, .cpp etc.
Since I really doubt that you can create an empty, say, .jpg file and open it with an image editor - in such case the editor would say that the file is corrupted.
