In Finder (macOS Sierra), the keyboard shortcut for "Show hidden files" is Cmd+Shift+(dot). It's not well-documented, but I'm using it a lot.
In NC, the shortcut is Cmd+Shift+i. For the sake of continuity, I would appreciate if NC would use Finder's shortcuts whenever it's possible. This shortcut would be a candidate

Short clarification: of course one can just change the shortcut in NC's settings. My idea was changing the default shortcut to Finder's default.

As a matter of fact, I'd like to see this shortcut be made default. This will help the more savvy of us who every now-and-then help others solve their Mac related problems, but do not always have NC (or other tools) installed. Getting NC shortcuts as close as possible to Mac (Finder) defaults would be the ultimate sophistication.

Wow, that's new to me, I didn't know such shortcut exists in Finder.
I absolutely agree with the reasoning, it's done.
