It doesn't matter which version of Nimble Commander. It's likely Big Sur compatibility issue. I'm using intel Mac, not Apple silicon.

Crash when use search in menu-Help-search [FIXED]
Re: Crash when use search in menu-Help-search
Hi,
I had not realized that I also have the same problem.
Typing a few characters in the search box causes a "beachball" to appear and then the app shuts down.
There is a window then regarding the crash offering to restart, ignore, send a report to Apple, etc.
I tried disabling Full disk access to Nimble Commander in Privacy options but the end result is the same, a crash.
Regards,
Carlos

Thanks for the report, I fixed the crash.
The next preview build will be fine in this regard.
