Good day.
Do I need Files Pro to be installed to continue to run full version of Files?
The reason I am asking is that I am starting everything through spotlight. And occasionally it find Files Pro quicker than Files.
A bit annoying. Would like to get rid of Files Pro completely.

Currently the existence of Pro version on hdd is checked upon every start of Full version.
Perhaps I should make some "activation" mechanism in the future, but now there're a lot of tasks with higher importance than that.
Mike.
Re: Files Pro
No issues.
Thank you.
Is there a workaround that you could think of, that would not reveal anything of importance yet would allow me to overcome this little problem?
I do not know - like renaming the executable of sorts?
Thank you.

Re: Files Pro
Don,
What if simply exclude Files Pro directory from Spotlight search?
AFAIK there's such option there.

Side note: I wonder how important is Mac App Store when targetting pro users anyway? There's been quite a few big tools leaving the store recently:
Just a food for thought for the future.

Re: Files Pro
Good idea - though I was not able to find how to exclude a single app from the search.migun wrote: What if simply exclude Files Pro directory from Spotlight search?
Re: Files Pro
Or what could be sold is just the license key, if required for one or another reason. With the autoupdate built in - what is the benefit beyond accounting and license tracking?darek wrote:Side note: I wonder how important is Mac App Store when targetting pro users anyway?
